Dr. Haroon Ismaili is an experienced board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, dedicated to providing quality state of the art oral surgical care to patients in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. He has been in practice since 2002, performing full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, and possesses skills that have lead to thousands of happy patients.
Dr. Ismaili’s special interests include dental implants, reconstructive, dentoalveolar, orthognathic, and trauma surgery. Dr. Ismaili is noted for his warm personal demeanor and a passion for the details of oral surgery that lead to extraordinary results. Establishing a personal relationship, that allows him to understand his patients’ concerns and desires, is a key part of his consultation process. His outgoing personality and outstanding surgical skills have led many local doctors, their families, and their staff to seek his care.
Dr. Ismaili has served in local and national dental societies as vice-president of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (Maryland chapter), and secretary and treasurer of the Patuxent Dental Society and Arlington Dental Study Club. Dr. Ismaili is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a fellow of the International Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

The Consumer Research Council of America has named Dr. Ismaili one of America’s top oral surgeons.
Dr. Ismaili received his baccalaureate degree in biochemistry and his doctorate of dental surgery from New York University. During his dental school education he received multiple awards including a student clinician and an honorary oral and maxillofacial surgery award. Dr. Ismaili completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Hospital in New York City. That experience enhanced his understanding of the treatment planning and restorative considerations faced on a daily basis.
Dr. Ismaili completed his surgical residency program as chief resident of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. and received the Chairman’s Award for service and dedication. As an educator in surgical training at Washington Hospital Center, Dr. Ismaili received numerous accolades for his service as a clinical and trauma attending.
Dr. Ismaili's hospital privileges include Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Grapevine as well as the Medical Center of Arlington. Dr. Ismaili also takes trauma call at the prestigious Baylor University Medical Center with the oral and maxillofacial residency training program.
On a personal level, Dr. Ismaili is a committed husband and father. He is married to Weda and has three children - Sarah, Solly, and Sophie. They live in Southlake, Texas.
Dr. Ismaili stays current on the latest surgical techniques by attending meetings, courses, reading journals, and visiting with colleagues around the country. |
